Introduction

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer at Envoy, you will be a lead architect for the company's data ecosystem, moving beyond traditional reporting to build an "Intelligence Platform" that fuels autonomous business insights. This role is ideal for a "Full-stack" Data IC who treats data assets as software products, integrating agentic workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) into a high-scale workplace management platform used globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of Envoy’s data ecosystem toward an "Intelligence Platform."
• Integrate agentic workflows and RAG into high-scale workplace management systems.
• Utilize Python, LLM APIs, and Vector Databases to create systems for human analysts and AI agents.
• Automate data engineering tasks using tools like dbt for software-grade SQL and modern orchestrators such as Airflow and Databricks.
• Adopt a "vibe-coding" mindset, leveraging LLMs to accelerate output while ensuring architectural integrity and human oversight.
• Act as a strategic partner to product teams, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) that direct company strategy.
• Proactively identify and solve bottlenecks within the data infrastructure.
• Mentor team members and elevate engineering standards, implementing CI/CD and version control best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a lead architect or "Full-stack" Data IC.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with LLM APIs and Vector Databases.
• Expertise in dbt for SQL-based data transformation.
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Airflow and Databricks.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control best practices.
• Ability to think strategically and partner with product teams to define KPIs.
• Strong mentorship capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redshift, Omni, Segment, Estuary, OpenSearch, Kafka, Flink, and Streaming Analytics.
• Knowledge of Semantic Layer concepts and implementation.
• Experience with Machine Learning and product analytics.
