Senior Content Lead

Responsibilities

• Develop and Execute Content Strategy: Create a content calendar that aligns seamlessly with marketing and sales targets; identify crucial themes and topics in the pension and insurance market.
• Lead and Coach: Manage content specialists (freelancers and partners) and coach them to perform at their best.
• Content Creation: Write (or direct the writing of) inspiring and informative content for all channels: social media, website, articles, emails, and more. Master storytelling, especially concerning financial services.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze content performance, optimize strategies based on data, and ensure continuous improvement of ROI.
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors and constantly seek new opportunities to stand out and capture market share.
• SEO Optimization: Ensure content is discoverable and ranks well in search engines.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in communication, marketing, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in content marketing, preferably within financial services, insurance, or pensions.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful content strategies.
• Experience in leading teams or external content specialists.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proven track record in SEO optimization.
• A true team player, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Native/fluent proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

• A gross monthly salary of €4,000 - €5,500 based on 40 hours (depending on knowledge and experience), excluding holiday allowance & bonus scheme.
