About the Position

Introduction

Fam is seeking a Senior Blockchain/Web3 Backend Engineer to join our innovative team. We are building a mobile-first social network leveraging NFTs, and are dedicated to creating cutting-edge Web3 products. This role offers the opportunity to work with an industry-leading team of ex-Googlers, focusing on product excellence and technical innovation in the Web3 space. We are venture-backed and operate with a small, productive team culture.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Blockchain/Web3 Backend Engineer, you will:

Design, develop, and deploy NFT-related smart contracts (primarily Solidity on EVM-compatible chains), including testing and security auditing.
Conduct on-chain data analysis and processing.
Design and develop blockchain applications and solutions, encompassing backend services and off-chain databases that interact with blockchains.
Perform off-chain data analysis and processing.
Ensure system security, scalability, and stability, participating in capacity planning, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and resolution.

Requirements

Solid Computer Science Foundation: Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, with robust programming and problem-solving abilities.
Solidity Expertise: Proficient in Solidity development and optimization, familiar with tools like Truffle and Hardhat, and experienced with third-party security contract libraries such as OpenZeppelin. Knowledgeable in gas optimization techniques.
Smart Contract Protocols: Familiarity with ERC721/ERC721A and ERC1155 protocols and equivalent contracts.
Backend Development: Familiarity with Golang or other backend development stacks.
Database Experience: Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or other database systems.
Data Processing: Familiarity with data processing pipelines such as Kafka.
Blockchain Development Experience: Proven experience in blockchain system and smart contract development.

Nice to Have

Experience launching large-scale / complex smart contracts on Ethereum.
Participation in DeFi project development.
Security background.
