Responsibilities

• Building the high-performance foundations for rapidly scaling AI agents.
• Designing microservices and distributed systems capable of handling millions of conversations monthly.
• Utilizing modern AI assistants for system design exploration, test suite generation, and architectural documentation.
• Maintaining high standards of functional programming (using Cats and Fs2).
• Influencing product strategy within an AI-native engineering environment.

Requirements

• Language: Expert-level Scala with a focus on functional programming principles.
• Systems: Distributed architecture experience, including Kafka, gRPC, and message brokers.
• Data: Mastery of SQL, relational databases, and NoSQL solutions like Mongo or ElasticSearch.
• DevOps: Familiarity with modern container orchestration via Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work remotely from Poland.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cats (functional programming library).
• Experience with Fs2 (streaming library).
