Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services primarily using Rust.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our trading platforms and blockchain-related products.
• Implement and manage APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend and other services.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and development environments.
• Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of our backend infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven expertise in Rust programming language is essential.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Experience with blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency trading platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
