About the Position

With over 1 million members, the company is rapidly growing and is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their mission. Responsibilities

Lead the development and testing of system components/services, code, and design reviews.
Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product.
Help translate user stories into technical solutions.
Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment.
Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team.
Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
Communicate with project leads, product managers, and other software developers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a technical field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
5+ years of programming experience, ideally on a modern stack.
3+ years of Java, Kotlin, or Scala programming experience.
Understanding of relational databases and ORMs.
Willingness to collaborate and take initiative.
Strong sense of responsibility, driving projects from inception to completion.
Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features.
Experience working in a collaborative coding environment (Git), refining designs, writing tests, working through code reviews, and managing pull requests.

Nice to Have

Experience scaling highly available, mission-critical systems.
Worked with trading and/or exchange systems.
Familiarity with the FIX Protocol.
Experience with Trading APIs (crypto or securities).
AWS experience.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
