We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Back-end Engineer to join our team and help us build the next generation of payment functionality.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable back-end services using PHP, Golang, and related technologies.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders, to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver features.
Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, adhering to software development best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new approaches and solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, contributing to their growth and development.
Work on a variety of challenging projects, making a significant impact on our product and millions of users.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on building scalable and reliable systems.
Proficiency in PHP and/or Golang, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems, frameworks, and best practices.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design principles.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
