We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Back-end Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our robust and scalable back-end systems, ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of our applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable back-end services and APIs.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.
Collaborate with product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring optimal performance and system stability.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to improve development processes and product offerings.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the company.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5+ years of professional experience in back-end development.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go (Golang), Java, Python, or Node.js.
Experience with designing and building RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, testing, and version control (Git).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience with real-time data processing and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Understanding of payment processing systems or financial technology (FinTech).
