Senior ASIC Verification Engineer

Introduction

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to contribute to the verification of global IP. This role offers the opportunity to influence diverse products and collaborate with design, architecture, verification, and integration teams.

You will partner with design and architecture teams to make informed implementation choices, develop and execute verification test plans, maintain regressions, and achieve coverage closure to ensure functional correctness and performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure for global IP verification across multiple products.
• Define, develop, and automate flows and methodologies for efficient RTL build, deployment, and verification.
• Ensure code and functional coverage for all verified RTL.
• Construct verification components using SV/UVM methodology.
• Drive coverage-based verification closure.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA design teams to identify corner cases and resolve verification issues.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven design verification experience.
• Experience in pre-silicon verification (UVM, SystemVerilog), ASIC design/implementation flow, and design automation.
• Programming and scripting experience in Perl or Python.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Exposure to design and verification tools (e.g., dc_shell, VCS, Debussy, GDB).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for internal and cross-functional team interaction.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience automating tasks in the design verification process.
• Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming.
• Prior design or verification experience at the IP or block level.
• Experience developing methodologies used by others.
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
