About the Position
Introduction
NVIDIA, a pioneer in visual computing and the engine behind modern AI, is seeking a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join our Coherent High Speed Interconnect team. For two decades, our invention of the GPU has transformed fields from video games to scientific research, and we are now at the forefront of the AI computing era, driven by GPU deep learning. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars, verifying innovative high-speed coherent interconnects for our mobile SoCs and GPUs.
Responsibilities
- Verify the design, architecture, and golden models of high-speed coherent interconnects.
- Micro-architect using sophisticated verification methodologies.
- Understand design and implementation specifications.
- Define verification scope and develop comprehensive verification infrastructure (Testbenches, BFMs, Checkers, Monitors).
- Develop and execute test plans, ensuring functional coverage and correctness of the design.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, emulation, and silicon verification teams throughout the verification lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.
- Proven experience in architecting test bench environments for unit-level verification.
- Background in verification utilizing random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
- Prior design or verification experience with Coherent High-Speed Interconnects.
- Strong background in developing Testbenches from scratch using SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM methodology.
- Proficiency in C++ programming and scripting languages.
- Exposure to industry-standard design and verification tools (e.g., VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy, GDB).
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of industry-standard interconnect protocols such as PCIE, CXL, or CHI.
- History of mentoring junior engineers and interns.

- Competitive salary range: 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4.
