Responsibilities

• Manage business-critical applications and integrations within a large and complex 24/7 landscape.
• Liaise with business, stakeholders, internal teams, and suppliers to align all parties.
• Analyze the environment and problems, and propose solutions based on these analyses.
• Ensure quality and cybersecurity within the environment.
• Execute tests.
• Prepare administration and user documentation.

Requirements

• HBO (higher professional education) thinking and working level.
• Experience with managing business-critical applications.
• Accustomed to liaising with stakeholders and suppliers, and not shying away from challenges.
• Ability to navigate a large and complex landscape.
• Technical knowledge/background is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of SQL, BiSL, and Information Security is an advantage.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Benefits

• Salary up to €5,500 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week.

Currently, about 75 IT professionals work within this organization to ensure successful daily operations. Continuity is very important, and as an Application Manager, you are responsible for overseeing a significant part of the operation. Your team consists of 7 professionals, and together you are responsible for the entire IT infrastructure. The outsourcing of the infrastructure has been completed, and now it is crucial to manage this effectively. Currently, there is a challenge in Cloud redesign, re-establishing workstations, and structuring the organization to function as a well-oiled machine. Your task is to celebrate successes while striving for continuous development and increasing maturity levels.

In your role, you are the point of contact for the qualitative functioning of critical business applications, with a focus on application planning. You take the initiative to address business queries, incidents, and technological solutions, transforming them into innovative and high-quality products. You are active within the project and management teams and proactively seek daily improvements. The process runs 24/7, and disruptions would have significant consequences. Across teams, you will ensure sufficient space is allocated to qualitatively set up the application and its integrations, manage/monitor production and incidents, and propose solutions to improve processes and the environment. Cybersecurity plays a significant role, adding an extra challenging component to your tasks.
