Introduction

Instrument is looking for a visionary Senior AI Engineer to join the frontier of multi-agent systems. This contract opportunity involves constructing a groundbreaking, stateful simulation engine for non-linear storytelling where thousands of unique sessions evolve in real-time. You will be the 'brain' behind the system, designing how multiple AI agents interact, share memory, and respond to user inputs while maintaining context.

Responsibilities

• Utilize LangGraph, CrewAI, and various Agent SDKs (OpenAI, Claude, Google) to build complex agentic architectures and logic loops.
• Design rigorous prompt structures and 'context engineering' strategies to minimize latency and ensure model reliability.
• Develop automated 'evals' to programmatically score AI performance.
• Maintain rigorous CI/CD-style testing for model behavior.
• Communicate with and control Large Language Models (LLMs) at scale.
• Build secure and intelligent data flows.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in Python and TypeScript.
• Obsessed with reducing latency.
• Experience in designing how multiple AI agents interact, share memory, and respond to user inputs without losing context.
