Senior Accounting Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounting Officer to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. As a Senior Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards (VAS, IFRS). Handle month-end and year-end closing processes. Responsible for tax reporting and compliance (VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT). Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure proper internal controls are in place and adhered to. Provide financial analysis and reports to management. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA/CPA qualification is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
