Responsibilities

• Further develop and improve the information security policy within the organization.
• Identify, analyze, and manage information security risks.
• Advise on appropriate security measures and oversee their implementation.
• Increase security awareness among employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external IT partners to structurally embed information security.
• Support audits, compliance issues, and risk assessments.
• Advise on topics related to privacy, governance, and cybersecurity.
• Act as the primary point of contact for security questions within the organization.

Requirements

• Higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a comparable role.
• Knowledge of privacy legislation, including the GDPR.
• Experience with or knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 is a plus.
• Strong communication and advisory skills.
• Ability to switch between tactical and operational levels.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Independent, analytical, and capable of involving stakeholders in changes.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
