Introduction

Sopra Steria is seeking a Scrum Master (Agile Consultant) to join their team in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. This role is for someone who can look beyond a single team, engage stakeholders, and drive significant improvements in complex environments. As a Scrum Master, you will coach one or more teams towards high performance, focusing on value creation, ownership, and continuous learning. You will use strong communication skills to interact seamlessly with developers, Product Owners, managers, and directors.

• Act as an Agile Consultant, Release Train Engineer, or coach to advance your team(s) and the organization.
• Tackle challenging assignments in various sectors with leading companies.

Requirements

• Passionate about pushing boundaries in digital transformation and technological challenges, with a unique perspective on how Agile & Scrum should operate within organizations.
• Committed to continuous skill development.
• Energized by collaborative work on impactful projects.
• Able to navigate different corporate cultures while maintaining focus on continuous organizational improvement.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Team Coach (or similar role) in complex environments.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills, capable of handling dynamics, conflicts, and resistance.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies and relevant certifications (PSM I and II, SAFe, or comparable).
• Experience with digital workspace tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
• Expertise in one or more of the following domains: Public Sector, Finance, and/or Utilities (energy sector).
• Completed HBO/WO education (Bachelor's/Master's degree) in Business or IT.
• Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• Consultancy experience is a strong plus.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

• Permanent contract and a salary indication between €3,600 and €6,300 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week). Exact compensation depends on your experience.
