SAP FICO Consultant

Introduction

Experis is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join an in-house SAP team within an industrial group that manages several independent operating companies. You will play a crucial role in the ongoing transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, focusing on the project side of implementation and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize finance functionality in S/4HANA Public Cloud, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), asset accounting (AA), controlling (CO), cost centers, profit centers, and period-end closing processes.
• Manage and further develop the group's finance template and apply it in current and new rollout projects and migrations.
• Represent finance in fit-to-standard workshops, ensuring adherence to the central template even when operating companies prefer customized solutions.
• Assist local teams with questions regarding product costing, explaining standard functionalities and template configurations.
• Maintain coherence between finance, logistics, and controlling.
• Train key users, both centrally and at individual operating companies.
• Collaborate with colleagues in SAP, integration, architecture, and business teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Finance or FICO Consultant, demonstrating a strong specialization in this field.
• Strong foundation in SAP FICO: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, cost centers, profit centers, and closing processes.
• Experience with S/4HANA is a plus, and Public Cloud experience is highly advantageous. Candidates with strong ECC experience looking to transition to S/4 are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with multiple companies within a single environment or exposure to diverse organizational structures is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of integration points between finance and logistics.
• Proactive and problem-solving mindset, capable of working independently.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or demonstrably equivalent HBO (Higher Professional Education) level achieved through work experience.
• Proficient in English.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

• Up to €7,500 gross per month based on a 38-hour work week, depending on experience.
