Introduction

Binance, the world's leading blockchain ecosystem and largest cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a Sanctions Escalations Analyst to join our team in Asia. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention to help us maintain our industry-leading security and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

As a Sanctions Escalations Analyst, you will:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex sanctions alerts and escalations.
• Investigate potential sanctions breaches and high-risk transactions.
• Interpret intricate ownership structures and identify sanctioned entities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of sanctions-related matters.
• Document findings and maintain accurate records of investigations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sanctions compliance program.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sanctions compliance, financial crime, or risk management, preferably within banking, fintech, or crypto sectors.
• Strong knowledge of global sanctions regimes, including OFAC, EU, and UN regulations, and their application to crypto-related risks.
• Proven experience with sanctions screening tools and transaction monitoring systems.
• Demonstrated analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and identify suspicious activities.
• Excellent decision-making skills, capable of balancing risk mitigation with business objectives.
• Ability to thrive under strict deadlines and deliver high-quality results consistently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
