Risk Manager / PMO (Project Management Officer)

Introduction

Experis is seeking a Risk Manager / PMO (Project Management Officer) for our partner, the Ministry of Defence. This role focuses on second-line risk management and coordinating management reports for the steering committee and program board within the HR IT Transition program.

Responsibilities

• Execute second-line risk management activities.
• Coordinate management reports for the steering committee and program board, including risk assessments and FCC appreciations.
• Guide project leaders through risk analyses and risk sessions.
• Implement qualitative improvements within the risk management process.
• Support the drafting and coordination of management reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable work experience in a similar role.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Successfully completed MBO-4 education (or higher).
• Proactive, driven, and energetic work attitude.
• Strong communication skills with project leaders, steering committee, and program board members.

Benefits

• Location: The Hague (with additional presence in Utrecht).
• Start date: November 2, 2026.
• Duration: 12 months, with an option for extension (3 times 12 months).
• Work hours: 36 hours per week.
• Remote work: Up to 3 days per week.
