Introduction

IDR is seeking a React Developer to join one of our top clients in Lansing, MI. This role focuses on supporting a state government project centered on infrastructure, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, mission-critical frontend applications in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, modular React components aligned with established design system standards.
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces across desktop and mobile, adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Build complex forms, multi-step workflows, and wizards with dynamic fields and advanced validation logic.
• Design and implement efficient state management solutions with proper loading, error handling, and data persistence.
• Create custom React hooks to encapsulate reusable business logic and enhance code maintainability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with React, including modern hooks and patterns.
• Working knowledge of a modern React framework.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Expert understanding of state management tools such as Redux or similar.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and asynchronous operations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js is preferred.
