About the Position

Alpaca Health is revolutionizing how autism care providers manage their practices by offering a clinician-first, AI-driven business-in-a-box. As the RCM Strategy and Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in architecting the financial growth engine for independent clinicians, moving beyond traditional claims management to optimize collections and implement automated, proactive systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee a dedicated team and external partners to optimize collections.
Build automated, proactive systems to prevent billing errors.
Work within a modern ecosystem prioritizing speed and automation using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Claude Code.
Partner closely with the engineering team to translate operational insights into product features.
Utilize AI-assisted development to refine the in-house EHR and integrate with tech-forward platforms like Candid Health and Airtable.
Drive financial growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in RCM strategy and operations.
Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Claude Code.
Ability to manage and optimize RCM performance (Denial Rate Analysis, Clean Claim Rate Optimization, Days in AR Management).
Experience with workflow design and revenue optimization.
Strong leadership skills for team and external partner management.
Understanding of product partnership and system scalability.
Skills in data reporting and healthcare administration.
Background in strategic finance, RCM platforms, startup, VC-backed, healthcare strategy, management consulting, or investment banking is a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with specific RCM platforms.
Knowledge of insurance credentialing, authorization tracking, and claim scrubbing.
Familiarity with Candid Health, Availity, AirTable, and Payer Portals.
