About the Position

Introduction

Binance is seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Engineer to join our growing team. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality of our innovative payment solutions within the blockchain ecosystem. You will be instrumental in developing, testing, and delivering high-quality products that revolutionize how people transact and manage their finances globally.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Prevent, collect, analyze, and track product defects effectively.
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for various testing phases.
Conduct hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional backend software issues.
Perform root cause analysis of existing test script failures.
Identify current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage.
Conduct investigatory testing of unreleased features, including defining requirements, behavior, and impact.
Document and design candidate test scenarios.

Requirements

3-6 years of professional experience in backend QA engineering.
Experience with frontend and backend auto-testing.
Proven experience in full-cycle testing, from designing manual tests to developing scripts and execution.
Scripting proficiency in Java or Python.
Experience testing backend services such as APIs and Databases.
Experience in functional and integration testing for web and mobile applications.
Solid hands-on experience in test automation framework design and development, covering both frontend and backend components.
Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a passion for breaking systems and solving complex problems.
User-focused mindset with strong logical thinking and seamless team communication skills.

Nice to Have

Prior knowledge and experience in the payment/funding related domain.
