Introduction

Sopra Steria is seeking a driven Product Owner to join their team in Nieuwegein. In this role, you will be instrumental in maximizing the value of digital products for clients by anticipating user needs and continuously improving product offerings. You will work within a cross-functional Scrum team, acting as the bridge between clients and internal development teams.

• Develop the vision and objectives for client products.
• Define the product roadmap and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Prioritize tasks to deliver maximum client value.
• Collaborate closely with a versatile, cross-functional Scrum team.
• Tackle challenging assignments across various sectors with leading companies.
• Contribute to groundbreaking projects and digital transformations.

Requirements

• An HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) degree in Business or IT.
• Proven track record as a Product Owner with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Expertise in one or more of the following domains: Public sector, Finance, and/or Utilities (energy sector).
• A distinct perspective on how product management should function within organizations.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in different corporate cultures and a continuous focus on organizational improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire others and foster collaboration to achieve optimal results.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Consultancy experience is a strong plus.

• Salary indication between €4,000 and €6,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on experience and role.
