Product Owner IT Finance

Introduction

Are you looking to play a key role in the digital transformation of financial processes? In this role, you will ensure that systems not only function but truly add value to the business. You will work at the intersection of Finance and IT, making a direct impact on efficiency and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the product roadmap for financial systems
• Translate business needs into concrete backlog items and user stories
• Prioritize work in collaboration with development teams
• Coordinate with stakeholders within Finance and IT
• Monitor planning, progress, and added value
• Analyze and challenge assumptions and requirements
• Contribute to efficient and future-proof financial processes

Requirements

• HBO or WO degree (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, Information Science)
• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role
• Experience within the financial domain and knowledge of processes
• Insight into compliance, audit, and reporting requirements
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and stakeholder management
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• CSPO certification or comparable
• Experience with SaaS solutions, AI, or low-code platforms
