Product Owner

You will join the Digital Product Management practice within the North Area team in Groningen, where product managers, (lead) product owners, business analysts, and agile analysts collaborate to shape and realize product visions and strategies. Introduction

As a Product Owner at Sopra Steria, you will act as the crucial link between clients and the development team. You will decipher the underlying needs behind requests, translate them into a clear vision, and ensure its successful implementation. Your work will focus on creating digital products that deliver value for both clients and their users.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an overview of the product backlog.
• Align priorities with various stakeholders.
• Ensure the team understands the next steps required for product development.
• Contribute to product strategies and roadmaps.
• Make decisive choices when necessary.
• Work on digital products that add value for clients and their users.
• Support the launch of new digital platforms.
• Help organizations transition to more product-oriented ways of working.

Requirements

• Minimum HBO (higher professional education) diploma.
• At least two years of experience as a Product Owner.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog prioritization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to comfortably navigate different organizational structures.
• A talent for bridging the gap between business and IT.
• Maintain an overview in complex situations, paying attention to both the big picture and details.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
