About the Position

Introduction

Bitso is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Reconciliation team. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity of our platform by safeguarding both Fiat and Crypto assets. You will be instrumental in building a universal ledger platform that supports Bitso's scaled operations across international borders in Latin America.

Responsibilities

Define Product Specifications: Support the Senior Product Manager by defining clear product specifications and actively removing blockers to ensure swift team execution.
Translate Needs: Act as the primary liaison between Finance/Operations and the Engineering team, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Identify Growth Levers: Pinpoint opportunities for growth and identify obstacles within existing financial flows, prioritizing initiatives that lead to automated and scalable systems.
Product Area Ownership: Develop a deep understanding of your product area, proposing improvements and clearly articulating trade-offs for proposed solutions.
Quarterly Planning: Contribute to the quarterly planning process, recommending high-priority initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals in your product area.
Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure organizational buy-in and maintain clear communication, including when guidance is needed or decisions must be challenged.

Requirements

Experienced PM: 2+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within Platform, Payments, or Treasury. Proven track record of successfully launching features from ideation to release.
Financial Domain Expert: Comprehensive understanding of transaction lifecycles and the critical importance of precise ledger reconciliation in building trust.
Outcome-Focused: Ability to set goals aligned with company OKRs, understand product levers, and accurately measure impact before and after delivery.
Requirement Gatherer: Skilled in gathering requirements and defining functionality in a clear, actionable format. Assesses product needs holistically, involving Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders early in the process.
Collaborative Partner: Thrives in cross-functional environments, working closely with Engineers, Designers, and Operations teams. Fosters partnerships to ensure validated solutions are ready before development.
Insight-Driven: Leverages user feedback, research, and data to identify pain points and ensures the voice of both internal and external customers is heard.
Data Fluent: Comfortable querying data to generate actionable insights and connect quantifiable goals to meaningful business outcomes.
