About the Position

Introduction

Bitso, the leading cryptocurrency platform in Latin America, is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of customer security products. This role is crucial for developing efficient, scalable solutions that support Bitso's rapid growth while delighting customers with world-class products.

Working within the 'Guardians' fleet and the 'Customers’ Security' squad, you will be instrumental in building robust authentication methods and strong security mechanisms, ensuring a delightful and simple experience for both retail and institutional customers.

Responsibilities

Manage customer security products, including guidance, roadmap definition, and alignment with engineering teams.
Define the product vision and roadmap for Bitso's central systems, impacting both retail and institutional customers.
Oversee the integration and strategy for authentication and security capabilities, enhancing customer protection.
Utilize the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) model to set ambitious goals, track progress, and measure product group success.
Collaborate with engineers, engineering managers, and designers to prioritize features, ensuring technical feasibility and user-centricity.
Conduct internal discovery and user testing to validate concepts and iterate based on feedback from Operations and other Business Units.
Drive secure and scalable system development for Bitso’s teams and customers.
Simplify and amplify existing capabilities and features.
Strategize products towards modern AI generative capabilities.
Strengthen the secure posture and enhance fraud detection and anti-money laundering efforts.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Product Manager with a track record of driving high-impact results.
Extensive experience with multiple authentication methods and security features for mobile devices and web applications.
Demonstrated expertise with AI tooling and capabilities.
Demonstrated expertise with critical and highly available systems.
Strong background in building data-driven solutions, including end-to-end products that properly separate transactional and analytical data.
Proven track record of using the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) metrics model to align team goals with business strategy.
Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to negotiate and align diverse interests from business, retail, and engineering teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
