Introduction

Sanas is looking for a Product Designer to join their team and help redefine global communication through live audio transformation technology. This role is ideal for a designer who embraces AI tools as integral collaborators in the design process. You will be instrumental in simplifying complex systems into intuitive user experiences across both mobile and desktop platforms, managing the entire design lifecycle from initial user research to high-fidelity delivery. Your main responsibility will be to create user-friendly interfaces that make real-time translation and speech enhancement feel natural for both enterprise clients and individual consumers.

Responsibilities

• Simplify intricate systems into seamless user experiences across mobile and desktop platforms.
• Manage the entire product design lifecycle from user discovery to high-fidelity delivery.
• Create intuitive interfaces for real-time translation and speech enhancement.
• Utilize AI for research synthesis and rapid prototyping.
• Evolve the Sanas Design System.
• Leverage LLMs to build and test interaction models quickly.
• Develop scalable UI component libraries maintaining consistency across B2B and B2C products.
• Ensure all tools meet high accessibility standards for a global audience (Inclusion-First Design).
• Collaborate directly with product managers and engineers to establish the strategic direction of the platform.
• Refine design workflows using the latest AI-assisted techniques.

Requirements

• Experience shipping products for both mobile and desktop platforms.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for design and prototyping.
• Strong understanding of systems thinking and developing scalable design systems.
• Commitment to inclusion-first design and accessibility standards.
• Ability to work in Palo Alto, California (on-site).
• 2-5 years of experience mentioned in the raw job description (inferring 'Mid' seniority).

Nice to Have

• Explicit experience with Claude, Cursor, and Figma Make. (These are strongly encouraged in the description).
• Experience in Speech AI or audio transformation technology.
• Background in B2B and B2C product design.
