PR Strategic Account Manager (Crypto-focused)

Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Performance-Based Public Relations Strategic Account Manager to drive the success of our clients' public relations initiatives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, PR expertise, and a focus on achieving tangible outcomes, coupled with a fundamental understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. You will work closely with clients to understand their PR objectives, devise tailored strategies, and deliver measurable results. Reporting directly to the COO, you will ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular meetings and consultations to understand client objectives, gather feedback, and align PR strategies with their goals.
  • Proactively anticipate client needs and offer strategic PR solutions to enhance their brand visibility and reputation.
• Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with clients and our Strategy team to develop comprehensive PR strategies aligned with business goals and target audiences.
  • Pitch earned media stories to Tier 1 and Tier 2 journalists.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify PR opportunities, trends, and industry insights.
  • Translate strategic PR plans into actionable campaigns, initiatives, and tactics that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of PR campaigns.
  • Monitor media coverage, social media engagement, and other PR metrics to assess campaign performance.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and deliver actionable insights to clients.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal PR teams, creative departments, and external partners to execute PR campaigns seamlessly.
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, and content teams to ensure PR strategies are integrated with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between departments to deliver cohesive PR strategies.
• Risk Management and Crisis Communication:
  • Identify potential PR risks and issues, developing proactive strategies and crisis communication plans to mitigate negative impact.
  • Monitor industry trends and news cycles for potential PR challenges, providing timely recommendations and responses to clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3-4 years) in PR account management, strategic communications, or related roles within the public relations industry.
• Demonstrated experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 media placements (evidence required).
• Intermediate knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives, press releases, and media pitches.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving tangible outcomes and ROI for clients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines effectively.
• A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships.
