    About the Position

    Introduction

    As a PMO, you will be the supportive force behind successful project and program delivery. You ensure structure, progress, governance, and reports so that project managers and stakeholders can rely on accurate information. You are the central point who streamlines processes, clarifies risks, and ensures projects run smoothly and predictably.

    You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and clients and assist in setting up, managing, and improving project management processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Help optimize and professionalize processes within the management team.
    • Set up, manage, and improve project administration, documentation, and governance processes.
    • Manage and maintain schedules, progress reports, risk and issue registers.
    • Monitor deadlines, budgets, and deliverables, and timely signal deviations.
    • Facilitate meetings such as project boards, status meetings, and steering committees.
    • Collect and analyze project data to provide insights and improvement proposals.
    • Support resource planning, reporting, and decision-making.
    • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, business administration, project management, or similar.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PMO, project manager, or in a consulting role, preferably in a consultancy or IT environment.
    • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and affinity with data and reports.
    • Excellent command of the Dutch language.
    • A team player who puts the team's interests before their own.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people.
    • A proactive attitude: you see improvements before others do.
    • Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
