Role Summary The Platform & Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the robust, scalable infrastructure that powers our trading platform. You will ensure our systems can handle high-frequency trading demands, implement DevOps best practices, and create the monitoring and data pipeline infrastructure critical to our operations.

Key Responsibilities Design and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading infrastructure * Establish secure and efficient connectivity with custody providers and centralised exchanges

Build and optimize real-time data capture and processing pipelines

Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability systems

Optimize systems for latency, scalability, and high-performance execution

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management

Build internal tools for system health monitoring, performance profiling, and debugging

Ensure system reliability, including disaster recovery and failover mechanisms * Manage cloud infrastructure and cost optimization

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in infrastructure/DevOps roles at trading firms, fintech companies, or high-performance computing environments

Strong proficiency in Python and at least one systems language (Rust/C++/Go)

Deep understanding of networking, CPU and memory models, including multi-threading, concurrency, and performance profiling

Extensive experience with DevOps practices:

Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)

Monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Experience with real-time data processing and streaming architectures (NATS, Redis, RabbitMQ)

Cloud platform expertise (AWS preferred)

Experience optimizing system resource usage and troubleshooting latency bottlenecks

Strong understanding of security best practices and network architecture

Preferred:

Experience with large-scale data pipelines and ETL design

Knowledge of TimescaleDB or other time-series databases

Experience with trading systems infrastructure

Familiarity with blockchain node operations and RPC management

Understanding of WebSocket/REST API design and optimization

Experience with load balancing and traffic management
