PHP / DevOps Engineer

Introduction

Our partner in Utrecht is a rapidly growing scale-up with ambitious expansion plans. You will work on integrating large international companies with occupational health services, where architecture, DevOps, creativity, and complexity converge. This is a broad and challenging role focused on further developing a health platform that improves the well-being of millions of people through innovative connections.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the team of engineers and specialists to optimize infrastructure and processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain PHP applications and APIs.
• Contribute to the architecture of the platforms.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure a smooth CI/CD pipeline.
• Monitor system performance and resolve any issues.
• Proactively contribute ideas for new technologies and innovations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a PHP Developer or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong focus on architecture and experience in setting up DevOps processes.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP and Laravel, both back-end and APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab.
• Proactive, analytical, and results-oriented.
• A team player with strong communication skills.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
