As a PHP Developer within a team of 6 developers, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in the continued growth of a leading e-commerce platform that processes tens of thousands of orders daily. The organization is constantly expanding functionalities, improving performance, and optimizing the user experience for both customers and internal employees.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end functionalities using PHP (Laravel).
• Implement new features and improve existing modules within the e-commerce platform.
• Integrate with various external systems and APIs.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product owners, and QA engineers to deliver the best possible solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PHP and Laravel and apply them where relevant.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PHP Developer, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
• Extensive knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Experience with MySQL databases and optimizing queries.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
• A proactive attitude and a strong drive for personal development.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as VueJS or ReactJS.
• Knowledge of Docker and AWS.
