Introduction

This company in The Hague has a complete in-house printing process, serving thousands of customers daily. Initially focused on the Dutch and Belgian markets, they have since expanded across Europe and are experiencing strong annual growth. To support and further build on this growth, they are looking for a Medior PHP Developer.

As a Medior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing innovative features and improving existing applications. You will work with PHP 8.2, Symfony 6.4, TypeScript, Vue.js, MySQL, Redis, AWS, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will have significant freedom and responsibility to apply your technical knowledge to develop complex systems that process hundreds of thousands of orders daily. You will join a team of approximately 15 developers, divided into smaller teams of 3 to 4 developers. Each team has its own focus, allowing you to gain deep knowledge of specific parts of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative features and enhance existing applications.
• Utilize PHP 8.2, Symfony 6.4, TypeScript, Vue.js, MySQL, Redis, AWS, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to complex systems that process hundreds of thousands of orders daily.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a PHP Developer.
• Extensive knowledge of PHP 7+, Symfony (or a comparable framework), and MySQL.
• Experience with Vue.js or another JavaScript framework is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• A passion for technology and a drive to solve complex problems.
• Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
