Pega Test Engineer

Introduction

As a Pega Test Engineer, you ensure that what we build truly works well. You look beyond a successful test case, actively participating in discussions about risks, quality, and cohesion. You consider potential pitfalls, identify missing elements, and contribute to making improvements before deployment.

You will work on Pega applications within complex environments. Collaborating with developers, analysts, and architects, you ensure that testing is not an afterthought but an integral part of the design process from the very beginning. You will work in a hybrid model from Nieuwegein, combining client locations and working from home. Within RulesMatter, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team where quality is a given, not an exception.

Responsibilities

• Determine a smart test approach within Pega projects.
• Design and execute test scenarios at both functional and technical levels.
• Set up and improve test automation where it adds value.

Requirements

• Experience as a tester in complex application environments.
• Experience with test automation tools like Tosca, Selenium, or Cucumber.
• Ability to switch between different testing levels and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pega is a plus, but not a strict requirement. If you master the basics of testing and are motivated to deepen your knowledge, we will support you.
