Introduction

As a Pega Business Architect at Sopra Steria, you will be the substantive lead at the intersection of business and Pega. You will oversee the entire process, understanding how processes are interconnected, identifying key bottlenecks, and designing future-proof solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Pega Consultants, setting the direction and ensuring consistency, priority, and business value from the initial client conversation to the working solution.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic business goals into a clear Pega approach and roadmap.
• Design Microjourneys and establish a logical, scalable foundation.
• Guide teams in realizing a Minimum Lovable Product that delivers immediate value.
• Act as a sparring partner for both the client and your team, asking the right questions, making sharp choices, and ensuring solutions are not only functional but also sustainable.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a role as a Business Architect or as a senior business analyst with clear end responsibility.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into a concrete approach, roadmap, and design.
• Experience in designing process architectures and setting up coherent solutions.
• Ability to easily navigate between stakeholders, development teams, and management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide direction without being dominant.
• Experience with Pega and certification as a Business Architect is highly desirable. If you don't have this yet, but have demonstrable experience in similar BPM or low-code environments, we will seriously consider your application.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
