Part-Time Product Designer

Introduction

Cofertility is seeking a part-time Product Designer to transform the digital experience for egg donation and family planning. This role involves creating a seamless and empathetic mobile-first journey for a complex medical process. You will have the opportunity to redefine how technology supports emotional healthcare decisions within a proprietary codebase.

This team actively embraces AI-augmented workflows. You will build a Cofertility-native design system using AI-optimized libraries like shadcn/ui and Tailwind, creating reusable patterns and interaction principles that enable both engineers and non-technical teammates to rapidly generate prototypes and production code.

Responsibilities

• AI-Augmented Prototyping: Utilize advanced AI tools to synthesize qualitative data and develop rapid experience concepts.
• System Architecture: Adapt open-source UI libraries into a unique brand language that scales through natural language prompts.
• User-Centric Innovation: Identify pain points in the donor journey and leverage data-driven insights to design warmer, clearer UX patterns.
• Collaborative Autonomy: Thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous environment where results and transparent communication are paramount.

Requirements

• Experience in Product Design, Experience Design, Design Systems, User Research, Prototyping, UI Design, UX Patterns, Service Design.
• Proficiency in AI-Augmented Design, Mobile-First Design.
• Ability to perform Qualitative Feedback Analysis.
• Strong Async Communication skills.
• Familiarity with Shadcn/ui, Tailwind, or similar component libraries.
• Experience with AI Tools in a design context.
• Understanding of the Healthcare and Fertility sectors.
• Knowledge of User Journey mapping, Mobile-First principles, Funnel Data, Human-Centered Design, Product Language.

Nice to Have

• Experience 2-5 years.
• Familiarity with Chakra UI.
