Responsibilities

As a Medior Oracle APEX Developer, you will perform the following tasks:

Realize new functionality with Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
Resolve bugs and incidents.
Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Implement CI/CD facilities.
Contribute to test automation.
Identify and implement improvements in the platform.
Maintain contact with other Oracle APEX developers within DICTU.
Work on and improve the DIP DevOps team according to Scrum.

Requirements

As a Medior Oracle APEX Developer, you must have at least the following:

Demonstrable experience with Oracle APEX, Forms, PL/SQL, preferably within the Dutch government.
HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level.
Knowledge of CI/CD, lifecycle management, and information security in application development.
Experience with Agile working (Scrum/DevOps methods/techniques).
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

Ideally, you also bring the following:

Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST).
Experience with Topdesk.

As an APEX Developer, you will join the Economy and Sustainability Team. This team develops, manages, and maintains various platforms, databases, and registers in the field of economy and sustainability. Our largest client, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl), uses our solutions for their administrations, subsidies, and assignments. With approximately 65 employees, divided into multiple DevOps teams, we work on innovative ICT solutions supported by Scrum masters, solution architects, and delivery managers. DICTU provides ICT and digital services for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK) and other ministries. With our expertise, we support policy and organizational goals and respond to the latest technological developments, such as Cloud computing.
