Online / Performance Marketer

Introduction

Needles, a new brand by Haystack People, is seeking an experienced and proactive Online / Performance Marketer to take full ownership of its marketing strategy and execution. This is a unique opportunity to build a new function from scratch, driving lead generation for clients and strengthening Needles' own employer brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize online advertising campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Social Media Advertising).
• Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility.
• Analyze campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations.
• Craft engaging and effective content for marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the founder to define marketing strategies and achieve business objectives.
• Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent for Needles.
• Work autonomously and take initiative in shaping the marketing function.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in online marketing or performance marketing.
• Proven experience with Google Ads, Social Media Advertising (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), and SEO.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Creativity in developing compelling marketing content.
• Proactive, self-reliant, and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English languages.
• HBO/WO (Bachelor's or Master's degree) level of education or equivalent work experience.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
