Node.JS Developer (Event Digitization)

Introduction

Are you a passionate Node.js developer ready to take over crucial responsibilities from the current Head of IT and make a significant impact in a rapidly growing scale-up? Join a leading player in the event digitization sector and contribute to an innovative platform that transforms the event experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the backend of the core application using Node.js and NestJS.
• Implement new functionalities and optimize existing features for an all-in-one event digitization solution (registration, ticketing, access, matchmaking, personalized agendas, etc.).
• Work within a self-managing scrum team of 4 developers.
• Take on significant responsibilities from the current Head of IT, with the potential to become the technical lead for the backend team as they transition to a CTO role.
• Contribute your ideas and input to continuously improve the platform.

Requirements

• Completed HBO/WO education (Bachelor's/Master's degree) in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Node.js developer.
• Experience with NestJS, Docker, and PostgreSQL.
• Proactive, driven, and passionate about software development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player, enjoying collaboration within a scrum team.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
