Network and Security Specialist

As a Network and Security Engineer, you will ensure the stability and security of the IT infrastructure, working closely with international colleagues to implement and manage security solutions and network components.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stability and security of the IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in America and Poland.
• Implement and maintain EDR/MDR solutions to enhance security.
• Manage the network infrastructure to ensure optimal functioning, including managing Access Points, Firewalls, and updating licenses.
• Resolve network-related issues and ensure smooth network operation.
• Coordinate security-related initiatives within the department and contribute to increasing overall security.

Requirements

• Preferably a degree in HBO ICT Infrastructure Security Management, or at least HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with a passion for Security and Network.
• Knowledge of EDR/MDR, SMA, MDM, and SDA solutions.
• Experience with Access Points, Firewalls, and updating licenses.
• Preferably experience with Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, and Azure.
• Proficient in both Dutch and English communication.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with specific network hardware vendors (e.g., Aruba).
• Familiarity with CrowdStrike for endpoint security.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware.
• Exposure to backup solutions like Veeam.
