Responsibilities

As a .NET Developer, you will work in multidisciplinary DevOps teams on complex IT challenges. You will develop future-proof solutions and deliver code you can be proud of: clean, maintainable, well-tested, and ready for the future. Quality is paramount, focusing on well-thought-out solutions rather than quick fixes. You will actively contribute to architectural discussions, design choices, and technical standards, ensuring applications remain secure, scalable, and stable.

Examples of assignments with our clients include:

• Building new, cloud-native applications from scratch: Working on greenfield projects, setting up architecture with the team, and developing modern .NET solutions that are scalable and future-proof from day one.
• Modernizing existing .NET applications: Making applications future-proof by migrating, refactoring, and improving architectural choices for better performance and maintainability.
• Improving CI/CD and engineering practices: Optimizing build and release processes and ensuring stable, secure, and efficient deployments within modern DevOps environments.
• Integrating cloud environments as Infrastructure as Code: Making infrastructure scalable, reproducible, and fully part of the solution.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a .NET Developer, with strong knowledge of C# and .NET (Core).
• Preferably experienced with Azure DevOps and/or Github, or open to quickly mastering them.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and accustomed to collaborating within a DevOps team.
• Completed HBO or WO degree in Informatics (or similar).
• You communicate effectively in Dutch and enjoy working in a team where knowledge sharing is central.
• You possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset and prioritize writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• You are committed to continuous development, actively follow technological advancements, and are motivated to obtain certifications.
• You are enthusiastic about becoming part of our Microsoft Community, where knowledge sharing is central.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

• A permanent contract and a salary between €4,000 and €6,000 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week, minimum employment of 32 hours). The exact salary depends on your experience and role.

• At Sopra Steria, we believe in continuous growth. You will have the opportunity to further specialize in Microsoft technology and obtain and maintain certifications, such as AZ-204 and AZ-400.
