Mobile iOS Developer for Home Automation (Energy Tech)

Introduction

Are you a motivated Medior/Senior iOS Developer eager to build a mobile application that provides real-time energy consumption insights to over a million households? Join a growing tech scale-up in Amsterdam and contribute to the energy transition by developing new functionalities, integrating innovative hardware products, and empowering users to manage their electricity, gas, water, and solar energy smarter. Your primary expertise lies in iOS and Swift, and any experience with Android and Kotlin would be a valuable bonus, allowing you to contribute broadly across the entire mobile platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Implement new features and improvements to enhance user experience.
• Work on the integration of innovative hardware products with the app.
• Contribute to the optimization of the overall user experience for over a million households.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• HBO/WO (Bachelor's/Master's) level of education and thinking.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an iOS Developer.
• Excellent knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience with API integrations and push notifications.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with test automation (Unit/UI testing).
• Bonus: Experience with Android and Kotlin.
• Bonus: Affinity with energy and sustainability.
• Proactive, analytical, and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
