Introduction

Anchorage Digital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Member of KYC Operations, Onboarding to join our team in Portugal. This role is essential for enhancing our KYC program, ensuring timely and compliant due diligence, and fostering a positive client experience within the rapidly evolving digital asset landscape. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the quality and regulatory adherence of our BSA/AML Compliance Framework.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent client KYC reviews for new prospects and existing clients, adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of institutional KYC requirements, applying them appropriately to both traditional and crypto-native client types.
• Lead and manage the entire KYC process from initiation to completion, identifying and addressing potential gaps or roadblocks.
• Effectively manage competing priorities and projects to meet strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to understand prioritization and track pipeline progress.
• Deliver KYC reviews in a timely and efficient manner.
• Engage with leadership, teammates, and other colleagues to understand interconnected processes and their contribution to the company's mission.
• Actively contribute to and participate in inter-group calls, taking initiative to collaborate with various teams.

Requirements

• Experience performing due diligence reviews for diverse institutional client types, including Investment Managers, Funds, Money Service Businesses, Banks, and Operating Companies.
• Demonstrated ability to compile AML/Non-AML due diligence using a variety of public research sources.
• Proven experience in cross-functional project management and facilitation.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a client-facing role, providing support and guidance to clients or middle office teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations and roadblocks effectively.
