This international organization employs over 20,000 people and serves millions of private and corporate clients with their financial products and services. You will join the Financial Risk department, which focuses on areas such as IFRS, FRAAI, strategic risk, and loan loss impairment. The team is responsible for applications that help the bank assess business transaction risks. They recently replaced their core workflow system with a new, end-to-end application built from scratch and are continuously enhancing it for better user experience.

Responsibilities

The team operates in a fully agile/scrum environment and has transitioned to a DevOps way of working, making them end-to-end responsible for their systems. Your main tasks will include:

• Creating clean, maintainable, and reusable code and running tests.
• Interacting with clients, analyzing their requirements, and translating them into technical solutions.
• Leading the creation, maintenance, and scaling of an automation testing infrastructure/framework to meet current and future demands.
• Setting up pipelines and infrastructure for running tests.
• Making changes on the mainframe.
• Mentoring others on good quality and testing practices.
• Proposing and sharing innovative ideas and potential improvements.

Requirements

• You hold at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• You possess extensive experience using Spring and Spring Boot.
• You have experience working with a public cloud, preferably Azure (pre).
• You are familiar with the end-to-end DevOps way of working, which includes hands-on experience with planning, designing, implementing, testing, maintaining, and deploying. While you don't need to be an expert in every step, basic knowledge and experience are essential.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
