As a Medior Data Engineer, you will transform raw data into valuable insights and scalable solutions, focusing on the design and optimization of data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw data into usable insights and scalable solutions.
• Design and optimize data infrastructure.
• Automate data processes.
• Ensure seamless data delivery.
• Develop microservices to make data lakes more accessible and useful.
• Continuously seek innovative ways to improve data scalability and usability.
• Develop and implement data solutions from concept to deployment that deliver strong results and support strategic client goals.

Requirements

• Passion for digital transformation and technology consulting.
• Ability to work on impactful projects and develop skills in a constructive team environment.
• Eagerness to expand knowledge and stay updated on the latest trends and developments.
• Experience: 3-4 years.
• Educational background: HBO, WO, or PhD.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and noSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Git and Docker.
• Knowledge of big data/distributed computing.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Matillion.
• Familiarity with Databricks.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Understanding of Data governance.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
