Introduction

Are you creative and passionate about content creation? AFAS Theater is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our team! From crafting engaging social media posts to writing sparkling texts, you'll do it all. The best part? You'll have plenty of freedom to realize your own ideas!

While AFAS might make you initially think of software, this internship will immerse you in the exciting world of theater productions, artists, and events.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and more!).
• Write compelling texts for our website and mailings.
• Assist with the creation of visual content, such as photos and videos for various productions and events.
• Collaborate with the team on exciting projects.
• Experiment with innovative (AI) tools and research how they can make our work smarter, more fun, or more creative.
• Identify social media trends and apply them directly to your work.

Requirements

• You are pursuing an HBO degree in Communication, Marketing, Media, or a similar creative field, and are in your 3rd or 4th year.
• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week for 5 months.
• You are energized by creating content for social media, websites, and mailings.
• You are adept at writing: from short captions to longer texts.
• You spot social media trends and enjoy trying them out immediately.
• You work independently but also enjoy collaborating with a team.
• You possess a creative mind full of ideas and are confident in sharing them.
• You are proficient with Instagram, Facebook, and other social media channels.
• Experience with Adobe programs or video editing is a plus.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
