Responsibilities

• Act as the technical leader within a small but ambitious team.
• Architect new features and optimize existing ones for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Set the technical direction for projects and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, directly impacting product development and overall tech strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Proficiency with FastAPI or similar modern Python web frameworks.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in recruitment tech or HR software.
