Lead PHP / DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring a development team of five talented PHP developers.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and robust software solutions using PHP, Symfony, and AWS.
• Optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using DevOps principles.
• Ensuring high code quality through code reviews and best practices.
• Translating business requirements into technical designs.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in PHP development.
• Proven experience with the Symfony framework.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS).
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience in leading or coaching a development team.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
