About the company This organization based in The Hague has developed a SaaS E-learning platform that is used by healthcare professionals. They currently have more than 10,000 users per month and are growing rapidly. To maintain this growth, they are looking for a Lead PHP Developer. They work with a small, but very driven team of 10 employees. Of course, they have experienced team members but also juniors who would like to be trained and guided. They value a good work/life balance, which is why a hybrid work model is used. Also, an open and flat culture is important within the company. What are you going to do as a Lead PHP developer? As a Lead PHP Developer, you will fulfill an important role within the organization. You will be actively involved in new and existing features, as well as the migration to Laravel. Furthermore, it is important that you guide and coach the junior and medior developers within the team. You ensure that the team is challenged and develops. You also contribute to technical decisions about the software architecture and the technologies to be used. Since the platform has more than 10,000 users, it is important that you ensure the scalability of the platform. You will therefore mainly work on the back end and will also be involved in testing the software and implementing pipelines.

What do we ask of you? A completed HBO/WO education in a relevant field; At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a PHP developer; Experience with PHP frameworks (preferably Laravel); Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines; Experience with unit and integration tests; Experience with MySQL and Redis; Fluent in the Dutch language (verbal and written).

Bonus points: Experience with Vue.js; Experience with Docker.
