Lead PHP Developer

They specialize in developing web applications and custom software, primarily for clients in the healthcare sector, but also for other industries. Introduction

As a Lead PHP Developer, you will contribute to the entire technical landscape of our clients, designing applications from scratch and coaching colleagues. You will join an informal development agency in the Mid-Brabant region, specializing in web applications and custom software for healthcare and other sectors. Our projects range from roster planning and patient files to time registration and internal applications, all custom-built to client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex web applications and custom software.
• Collaborate closely with clients to translate their needs into technical solutions.
• Coach junior and medior developers, helping them enhance their skills.
• Act as a technical sparring partner for management and contribute to the company's technical strategy.
• Actively participate in discussions on technical challenges and new technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PHP Developer.
• Proficiency with Laravel.
• Experience with Javascript, Vue.js, React, or Angular is a plus.
• HBO (higher vocational education) work and thinking level.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and a true team player.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Our team consists of 10 developers, including 4 seniors, working in multidisciplinary teams. We foster an informal atmosphere, with short communication lines and a strong emphasis on individual initiative and innovation.
